Rezumat

Morphological markers in the selection of sunflower parent lines can be used to clearly identify the genotype, protect the copyright of breeders and obtain genetically pure seeds in breeding areas due to the lower labor intensity of varietal weeding. Monogenic recessive traits without a negative pleiotropic effect on the main biological and economically useful traits are most desirable. There is a germplasm with a recessive gene of short tube-shaped ray (ft) flowers in the collection of constant lines of sunflower. Interlinear hybridization and sequential inbreeding were used to create new breeding maternal lines of sunflower which containing the ft gene. Seven sunflower lines were obtained as a result of the selection process. Each line has the ft gene in the gene pool. Lines differ in flowering dates from 45 to 63 days, 1000 seed weight from 50 to 70 g, plant height from 85 to 140 cm, seed yield from 1.5 to 2.6 t/ha. These lines can be used both for the obtaining of experimental sunflower hybrids and as an initial breeding material.
