Rezumat

Our research is aimed at obtaining the characteristics of the quality of pollen in the samples of tomatoes as a result of long-term storage (for 60 days) under conditions of low positive temperature (+ 6° C). The study uses fresh pollen 16 Tomato genotypes (lines -5, 6, 7, 125, 126, 302, 304, 305, 311, 302, 304, 305, 311, 324, 327, 305, 311, 324, 327 and Viza, Solaris, Nota Onix, Ballada varietys) and refrigeration cabinet with the temperature regime + 6° C. The pollen of each genotype was divided into seven parts in the same proportion. Two parts of pollen simultaneously evoked to an artificial nutrient medium (15% sucrose and 0.006% boric acid). One of which was germinated for 3 hours at a temperature of 25°C (control). The second part was germinated at a temperature of + 6° C within 24 hours (experience). The remaining five parts were placed in peniciline bottles and stored at a temperature of + 6° C for 1, 5, 10, 30 and 60 days. In each embodiment, the quality of pollen was evaluated by the expiry of the specified time exposure of storage. Propose: revealed reliable differences between the studied genotypes for the reaction of their pollen on the duration of storage. The main differences between the analyzed genotypes by the reaction of their pollen to the low temperature are detected during the temporary exposure of storage - 10 days. It is shown that pollen of some genotypes (L 126, L 304 and L 324) lost viability on the 10th day of storage. Further storage (30-60 days) and the quality analysis of the genotypes of pollen allows you to select those that retain the optimal percentage of viable pollen, with the corresponding length of the tubes (three diameters of pollen grain). Three genotypes are identified - L5, L7, the Onyx variety, capable of maintaining a high percentage of viable (5 -15.0%) functional (length of pollen tubes - 28-36 divisions of eyepiece-micrometer) pollen with low-temperature mode + 6° C for 60 days. The ability of these genotypes to maintain high pollen quality after long-term storage (60 days) at low temperatures (+ 6° C) suggests the probability of the presence in the remaining set of male gametes of those that are characterized by increased resistance to cold stress. The differentiating ability of the method used of detection and selection of coldresistant forms of tomato is shown on the traits of male gametophyte.
