Rezumat

South-east of Romania is mainly infested with parasite broomrape (Orobanche cumana Wallr) with races G and H. In every year, we tested new sunflower genotypes in this region, especially in Braila area, to identify resistant\tolerant plants to race G and H of broomrape. In year 2020, we plant in Braila areea, in micro plots of 4 rows with 7 m length, in three repetitions, each sunflower genotype tested. We use experimental sunflower hybrids created at NARDI Fundulea, in system Clearfield® Plus and in system Express Sun®. Sunflower hybrids H1IMI+, H2IMI+ and H3IMI+ from system Clearfield Plus was treated in stage of four true leaves in two repetitions with herbicide Pulsar Plus (1.6l/ha) with active substance imazamox and third repetitions was untreated with herbicide. Sunflower hybrids H4SU and H5SU from system Express Sun was treated in stage of four true leaves in two repetitions with herbicide Express (30 g\ha) with active substance tribenuron methyl and third repetitions was untreated with herbicide. H1IMI when was untreated with herbicide, has 99 bromrape\82 sunflower plants and 0 broomrape\154 sunflower plants when was treated with herbicide Pulsar Plus. H2IMI when was untreated with herbicide, has 39 bromrape\77 sunflower plants and 10 broomrape\152 sunflower plants when was treated with herbicide Pulsar Plus. H3IMI when was untreated with herbicide, has 55 bromrape\78 sunflower plants and 5 broomrape\149 sunflower plants when was treated with herbicide Pulsar Plus. H4SU when was untreated with herbicide has 70 bromrape\79 sunflower plants and 147 broomrape\153 sunflower plants when was treated with herbicide Express. H5SU when was untreated with herbicide, has 55 bromrape\81 sunflower plants and 60 broomrape\143 sunflower plants when was treated with herbicide Express. The sunflower hybrids tested in system Clearfield® Plus has a better tolerance at parasite Orobanche cumana, then sunflower hybrids tested in system Express Sun.
