The need to ensure the social status of professional sportsmen and to protect their labour rights, providing them decent working conditions and protecting them from any form of exploitation, determines the need of an interdisciplinary research of the main legal provisions on professional sports, in order to adjust the existing national establishment to international standards. This given release focuses on general issues of legal provisions on sports performance, and in particular the legal labour aspects which guide the activities of professional athletes, in different countries. |
