The legal mechanism of human and citizen information rights protection in Republic of Moldova is an unknown field of the modern legal science. With the development of information systems, diversify of the production process, methods of storing and transmitting information, this legal categories took a new forms of a phenomenon of permanent actuality. Peculiarities of legal mechanism of the human and citizen information rights and freedoms protection as legal phenomenon, lies in the unique character of the area in which this mechanism is implemented (the information), as well as objects against which this relations are established (information and information products). Human rights protection is an essential, integral and inevitable desideratum, subjective aspect of human expression of values, specific form of the organization of social relations. Therefore, the modern system of human rights protection is the result of long historical development. National experience in this field shows that the value of human rights and freedoms, necesity of their protection, must be developed within society. Mechanical transposition of the best protection mechanisms of human rights and freedoms comports no results.
