Rezumat

After 1918 the cultural life of Romania was marked deeply by Great Reunion. During the inter-war period in most Basarabian localities were created a great number of Cultural Community Houses which belonged to Royal Cultural Foundations Principele Carol and King Mihai I. The village of Văleni also benefited from a Cultural Community House. The Cultural Community Hoose (Luceafarul) in Valeni village was created on the 16-th of July in 1937, the director being the Priest Mihai Mihailovici. The members of the Community House were the village people, but also as the members of honour were Vasile Hondrila, the School Inspector of Cahul County and MihaiBeran, the Praetor of Alexandru Ion Voievod. Community House consisted of three sections-section of the culture of mind and spirit, the culture of health, and section of culture labor. Every section was responsible for achievement of certain tasks. Culture of Mind & Spirit Sectionwas responsible for organization of holidays, conferences, combating religious sects, of liquidation of illiteracy in adults, through organization of schools for adults. Culture of Health Section was responsible for residents health, also animals health. Culture of Labor Section was mainly responsible for agriculture. Thus, the Cultural Community House „Luceafarul” has developed an extensive activity for education cultural, spiritual and national of local population.
