Reform of the educational system in the Republic of Moldova implements student-centered learning. This concept includes students’ activity which leads to responsibility and intellectual progress. Thus, teachers become guides of teaching approach using new textbooks of Romanian language and literature designed to change the vision of effective work. The Romanian language and literature textbooks for X-th and XII-th form help students to read, to write and to communicate efficiently, because these include efficacious headings and exercises in order to evaluate the students’ knowledge. Touching upon the working tasks we can find out that the efficient use of textbooks develop different skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Summarizing the assertion, the Romanian language and literature teachers must realize the usefulness of these school books, as they are responsible for teaching students.
