Rezumat

The effect of atomic substitution of Te in iron based superconductors FeSe (1:1 type), which exhibits the simplest crystal structure among the iron-based superconductors, have been investigated in terms of structural and magnetic properties using XRD, VSM, AC Susceptibility. Polycrystalline samples in stoichiometric ratio of FeSe1-xTex (x = 0.50, 0.60 and 0.75) were synthesized using the solid-state reaction. The magnetic susceptibility for the samples of x = 0.50(1) 0.50(2) , 0.60 and 0.75 showed a strong superconducting behavior and resistive Tc measurement showed the values of 7K, 12.6 K, 13 K and 9.6 K for x = 0.50(1) 0.50(2), 0.60 and 0.75 respectively. The a and c lattice parameters monotonically increased with increasing Te concentration.
