The purpose and the relevance of this paper are to reveal the impact that the discursive spaces (espaces discursifs) can have for the prototypical narrative structure. The way a discourse is organized at all levels is important to analyze in order to identify the possible conflict structures and their source. In order to achieve our purpose, we are going to present a model of analysis of six texts segments belonging to the same discursive type: the narrative but of a different textual genre: written narrative versus oral narrative. Regarding the narrative structure we are going to follow Jean Michel Adam (French linguist) theory of a prototypical narrative structure and for the discursive spaces we are going to follow Liana Pop’s theory in order to identify the source of the generic differences. The analyzed texts have as main theme: the Brussels attacks. |
