The new long-term strategy on restructuring the science and the investment thereof, adopted on February 5, 2004 with the direct competition of the Presidency, Parliament and Government, has created a favorable legal basis for improvement of the investigation management in the Republic of Moldova. The Code on the Science and Innovation represents a veritable Constitution for the investigators; the efficiency thereof being especially useful for the scientific community. As a consequence of the undertaken efficient actions on all the levels, the 2005 year represents a turning-point in the Moldovan science. There were established new relations with the government and civil society there is radically changed the role and the place of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova in the new system of administration of the research field.
