Background. Liver transplantation (LT) is a curative method of decompensated liver cirrhosis (LC) in the end-stages liver disease, the evaluation of quality of life (QL) is an important aspect for monitoring the results of treatment after LT Objective of the study. Analysis of the literature in evaluation of QL for patients in the LT program. Material and Methods. PubMed was the search for articles with the key words liver transplant, quality of life, questionnaires. After analyzing 150 articles on various QL questionnaires, which can be applied to patients in the LT program in the Republic of Moldova Results. After analyzing 150 articles in PubMed, 20 were selected - the most relevant, which contained proper questionnaires. For validation and application in the program of LT was selected SF36 (Health Status Survey) questionnaires total and short version, CLDQ (questionnaire for patients with chronic liver disease) and NIDDK-LTD questionnaire in terms of time required for response, correct processing of questionnaires and the possibility to compare with other works Conclusion. QL assessment by introducing selected questionnaires (SF-36, CLDQ, NIDDK-LTD) in the Liver Transplant Program in the Republic of Moldova can help to monitor the effectiveness of treatment of patients after LT. From the analyzed literature, 3 relevant questionnaires were selected to be validated. |
