Youth regional NGOs are unique in the extent they are mainly focused on the views and serving the needs and interests of young people. They also provide a space where young people can learn and experience the opportunities and challenges of participating in decisions and actions with other young people. They can be structured organizations or they can be informal groups of young people. It is important that young people have the opportunity to join a youth organization of their choice in their community if they so wish. |
