The personality of each of us is unique because the combination of genetic heritage of each, the environment where we are growing and education which we are receiving. The base of this “construction”, which gives the feeling of personal identitz, is social or self-ego with its three components: cognitive component or self-concept, self-esteem or emotical component and self-presentation. Contents of this article deals with the conceptualization of self-presentation as a mechanism of selection, synthesis, and control of information transmition about the identity of social interaction partners.
