Rezumat

This study reflects the evolution of the Romanian-English relations during Czechoslovak crisis from 1938. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the role played by Great Britain and Romania at the event. The results of this investigation showed that England did not grant any support to Czechoslovakia and, on the contrary, supported German claims to it. British position negatively influenced the international situation of Romania, who was directly interested in the fate of Czechoslovakia. However Czechoslovak crisis proved that the two countries had the primary aim in foreign policy to preserve peace and avoid involvement in any argument that the crisis has favored closer Romanian-British.
