The relation between two or more variables considered in statistical populaces, developed and rendered in mathematical language was set up in a theory, called the statistical correlation theory or simply corelation. The relation may have different forms. The simplest relation for instance between two aleatory variables is the functional relation. The reverse situation is the one of independence of two aleatory variables and by them the phenomena which represents them. Between the two extremes the wide field of flexible non-equivocal relation is extended, relation of statistical or stochastic type when at the variation of one of the variables the other variable reacts by switching changing distribution reparation. |
