The Latin language aims to the deep knowledge of the Romanian language, the enlargement of the students, vocabulary, the easier assimilation of other foreign languages and, in the long run, to the development of cultural competences by means of the knowledge of the contribution brought by the Latin culture to the pearls of the modern european culture. The study of the Latin language discipline within the university education provides the scientific curiosity development, that is necessary to the aquirement of knowledge, to the understanding and awareness of the Latin language as well as of the roman people to the historic, ethic and linguistic fund. |
