Rezumat

The construction of Chisinau in the modern period is closely connected with the erection of places of worship in the city, which is why the subject under investigation becomes current. In addition to the symbol churches of the city such as the Măzărache Church, Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel, Saint Elijah, Holy Emperors Constantine and Helena churches, new places of worship as the Armenian Apostolic Church, Church of the Resurrection of the Savior, Church of the Ascension, Roman Catholic Church Divine Providence, St. Panteleimon Church, Assumption Church, St. Nicholas Evangelical-Lutheran Church, Great Synagogue etc. were built in Chisinau too. The images of all these architectural monuments have created the inspiration for the next plastic artists: Veaceslav Ignatenco, Galina Cantor-Molotov, Ludmila Țonceva, Iraida Ciobanu and others, plastic artists, who dedicated their pictures to these monuments, working in plein-air. The paintings of the mentioned plastic artists differ by their own style. It was meant not only to educate the aesthetics in the society, but also to bring once again the urgent necessity for protection the cultural heritage in the view of the general public.
