The Ukrainian scenography of the 20th century: stylistics of artistic search in musical theater The article deals with the creative projects of Ukrainian artists of the musical theater of the 20th century. The author conducts a stylistic analysis of the formation and development of mastery of representatives of different artistic generations. The presented material experiments of the constructivist artist Anatoly Petritsky (1920–30), studies the deep implications of the scenographic imagery of Fyodor Nirod (1950–80), comprehends the philosophy of the figurative solutions of EvgenuLysik (1960–90) and the scope of Maria Levitskaya’s creative approaches (1990– 2010). The material is considered on the basis of the study of archival data and personal contacts of the author with artists. |
