The following article analyzes the strengths and weaknesses in the activity of diaspora associations. The strengths and shortcomings in their functioning are determined based on interviews with experts and leaders of Moldovan organizations abroad. The desire to retain their national identity, voluntary character and the strive for collective action are listed among their strengths. The weak sides of their activity: limited human resource, political fragmentation, insufficient solidarity, lack of financing, and poor communication. |
