In the presented article, based on archival materials, the author provides new data on the dating of the first cemetery in Komrat. According to the sources identified, the beginning of the development of the Komrat cemetery should be considered 1819. It is indicated that before that the trans-danubians migrants (the future founders of Komrat) buried their dead in the neighboring village of Kopchak. |
