This study explores the current stage of development of interstate cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, their constructive impact on the process of integration of both states into the European Union. The activation of constructive cooperation, the results of mutual positive exchange of experience in the field of promoting European integration, achievements in the sphere of economic, energy, political and ecological cooperation are being monitored.  Attention is drawn to progress in such areas of cooperation as intergovernmental, inter-parliamentary ties, trade, energy, combating crime and the joint solution of the Transnistrian conflict.  The positive influence of constructive cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine on fulfilling the requirements put forward by these EU countries for joining the European community was underscored.
