Republic of Moldova being territorially established at a specific strategic point, historically was influenced by two great political, economic and social powers from the East and West. Being an agrarian country with a small territory with a poorly developed industry and infrastructure, devoid of raw materials and energy, it can ensure an evolving development only by asserting itself as a modern and democratic state with an open model of development economically and social-political. In this context, the main role is playing by international relations which have to ensure the effective and continuous development; and the European vector currently chosen by the government is the only way for a democratization of the society, for social-political and economic modernization, as well as a possible prosperity. The analysis of the international relations evolution through the governance programs of the Republic of Moldova is an eloquent picture of the mentioned field.
