Treatment of chronic apical periodontitis is one of the most important problems of modern dentistry. Conservative treatments are not always effective for chronic periapical processes. In this cases, it is necessary to use combination of conservative and surgical methods. One of the moust effectve combination methods is hemisectia. It guarantees stable results, teeth can be used for prosthetics, helps to eliminate inflammatory foci in the maxillofacial region and reduces the duration of conservative treatment and complication. |
