This article elucidates the semiotic aspects of the associative composition and its basic forms. The associative composition represents a plastic interpretation of the artistic image, based on mental processes of associative perception and creation of new images; associations of phenomena and objects, leading to abstraction. This cyclical connection is always maintained between the three basic types of compositions: abstract - formal - associative. |
