The furniture of the peasant house in its historical and artistic evolution, is part of our cultural heritage and deserves a more in-depth research, both of the few pieces preserved in peasant houses and museums, as well as in archives, and specialized literature. The incursions in the brief description of the furniture from the places of worship in its historical evolution allow us to connect with the peasant furniture. And the field research, carried out by us, on the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova, as well as the presence of peasant furniture in ethnographic museums in the country, allows us to have access to the few pieces of furniture preserved, from the late nineteenth century - first half XX, and which presents a material of vast artistic value.
