This article examines the features of studying moving miniatures and lyric plays for piano in music school senior forms. Studying art technique is the essential task in working at moving miniatures. Such plays presume a combination of a number of per-forming tasks and an advanced level of complexity (texture, endurance, and motor skills). Working at lyrical plays has a beneficial effect on developing pupils’ musicality and artistic and performing initiative. While playing a cantilena, a pupil should strive for a full, soft, and melodious sound and the maximum variety of sound tones. |
