Статья посвящена двусторонним инвестиционным договорам (ДИД), которые в последние десятилетия обретают все большую популярность в качестве формы сотрудничества государств в сфере инвестиционной деятельности. На примере Российской Федерации рассмотрены функции, содержание и цели этих договоров. Всесторонний анализ ДИД показывает, что в них закреплены ключевые принципы, стандарты и нормы инвестиционного сотрудничества, обеспечивающие для подписавших их стран либеральный инвестиционный режим.

The article concerns bilateral investment agreements (BIA), which in recent decades have become increasingly popular as a form of cooperation between States in the field of investment activities. On the example of the Russian Federation, the functions, content and goals of these agreements are considered. A comprehensive analysis of BIA shows that they contain key principles, standards and norms of investment cooperation that ensure a liberal investment regime for the signatory countries.
