The optimal concentrations of the components of the incrusting mixture based on the sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and the sum of genistifoliosides (SG) were determined to obtain the maximum effect on the seeds of maize parent line. The positive effect of seed incrustation with a bioconjugate in the composition of 1.0% CMC and 0.1% SG was revealed on the initial phases of maize development, which consists in rising the germination energy and overall germination of seeds, as well as in increasing the length of roots and seedlings. In addition, in the field conditions it was found that such seed treatment leads to improved development of the root system, to an increase of green mass of plant aerial parts and mass of 1000 grains. The proposed procedure is recommended to fortify the viability of the parent forms of maize and improve the ears grain content. |
