The study examines the cultural and social life of the Greeks in the Tauride province in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, characterizes the beginning of the formation of Greek settlements on the territory of the Crimean peninsula in particular, and the Tauride province as a whole, and the quantitative and professional composition of the Greek population in this period. It substantiates the role of the religious leaving in the life of the Greeks, their high educational level and role in the life of the region. |
