This article is devoted to the problem of differentiation of powers and competences between local public authorities of the first and second levels, as well as between the National Assembly of Gagauziya and the Executive Committee of Gagauziya in the field of education. Local public authorities do not have sufficient powers in the educational field, although both children and their parents live in the administrative-territorial units managed by local authorities. Therefore, they should be given their own exclusive powers in resolving the issues of local importance in the field of education. |
