Rezumat | ||||||
Treatment of tomato seeds from collection of plant gene bank with millimeter radiation (wavelength: 5.6 mm; power density: 6,6 mW/cm2 ; exposures: 2, 8 and 30 min) led to stimulation of morphophysiological and biochemical parameters of seeds and seedlings. Stimulating effect was more pronounced in case of combined effect of physical factors (millimeter radiation and low temperature) as compared to separate effect of radiation. Significant reparative effect of millimeter radiation following treatment of tomato seeds with low temperature during ex situ conservation was revealed in the majority of experimental designs |
