The Polymerase Chain Reaction has become the cornerstone of modern molecular biology the world over. Real-Time PCR (quantitative PCR) has become the preferred method for validating results obtained from assays which measure gene expression profiles. Its success depends greatly on proper primer design. In this work were synthesized pair of primers for the genes involved in the synthesis of sclareol and rosmarinic acid to an amplification product of 75-150 bp also for actin gene as reference |
