Collection of maize samples has been evaluated for resistance to stem lodging. Ten lines were studied under field conditions for two years (2010, 2013). To determine the resistance of forms to lodging to estimate the number of lodging plants, as well as the angle of inclination of the stem immediately after the influence of unfavorable environmental factors. The resistance to stem lodging was determined by counting plants with deformed stem during their complete maturation. In addition, the studying material was evaluated for resistance to the stem rot of maize. |
