The goal of the research was the study of the cyanobacterial remedy BioR, obtained by modern technology from Spirulina platensis, with adaptive and anti-stress properties, strengthening animal health as well. Still its impact on the antioxidant status in quails needed to be elucidated. For this very purpose a study was conducted on 200 adult quails for reconditioning, equally divided into 4 experimental groups, treated with different doses of the tested remedy, and one control group also treated 2 times with saline. It was established that the tested remedy does not cause side effects or deviations in birds` health. The tested remedy improves the liver`s proteosynthetic function, showing adaptive properties as well as strengthening the antioxidant status in quails. |
