Cyanobacterium Spirulina platensis is widely used as source and producer of bioactive substances, in particular for the production of medicinal drugs. One of the most known and studied products from this category is the national bioactive remedy - BioR. In order to elucidate the influence of the BioR remedy compared to the alternative product Catosal, a study on five groups of 40 broilers in factory conditions was conducted. It has been experimentally shown in production conditions that the optimal dose and the best administration regime of the BioR remedy is 0,3 ml per animal on the 7th day after hatching, and 0,5 ml per animal on the 21st day of life of broilers. The tested remedy was found to be well-tolerated by birds. It also contributes to improving the birds` health and liver function. |
