The present research describes the problem of the distribution and the fragmentation of Italian dialects. The main focus is the lexical interference between the standard language and dialects. The continuous contact between the Italian language and dialects had as consequence the appearance of regional Italian and regional dialect. In conclusion, the work has proved that the Italian language lives in symbiosis with different regional varieties and dialects this was a positive interference enriching the Italian language with regional color. |
