In order to understand the phenomena of nature and society and to know how to act on them, a man should know and understand them. It has been rightly stated that science is power, because it helps the person to use the nature in accordance with his/her purposes and interest. School stimulates the development of knowledge interests and supports continuous enrichment of knowledge; however it also deals with the formation and development of social skills. A very important task of school refers to the formation of a correct vision concerning the environment and its protection, together with the development of students’ interest and the formation of an appropriate behaviour. |
