This paper provides an analysis of the land relations through the structural changes made as a result of the agricultural reforms. Particular attention is paid to the results of privatization in agriculture, but also to the peculiarities and relative trends of peasant (farming) households in the Republic of Moldova. The structure of the land fund is analyzed according to the categories of the land owners, as well as to the size of the areas owned by them. Also, the evolution of the peasant (farming) households that received agricultural land for the quota of equivalent land was studied. |
