The main objective in this paper is to identify the main categories of risks existing both internally and externally and how they are manifested. The typology of risks makes their analysis even more enticing, due to the fact that, although they exist and are felt, we can also combat them by using preventive methods. Conceptually, this notion of risk does not have a clear origin, ie its origin is not known exactly. What we can mention, is the fact that it was introduced in the current speech since the existence of Homer (1193), in which it was considered as that danger existing in some human actions, not being cataloged either from a commercial point of view or as an aspect. legal. There was an evolution of this term on the Romanian market, in the sense that for the first time, this term was used in Italy, during the thirteenth century, respectively the fourteenth century, but that continues with France, for the seventeenth century, being used for the first time in maritime activity, to be used later in life insurance activities or in cases of fires.
