In the study of the contemporary family, there was a wide range of approaches both in terms of the internal structure of the family and its relationship with the outside. Thus, we can say that the study of the family has important theoretical and practical values: due to the small number of members and its relative stability, the family can be regarded as a small laboratory, being able to record data, mechanisms, causal determinations with high accuracy, but under natural conditions; any demographic forecast and policy must take into account the natalist conception and behavior of the couples; even in societies where part of the upbringing and education of children is taken over by other institutions. The family remains the main court for socializing and educating children; more and more today we talk not only about family therapy, but also about family therapy, considering that the family is the most important and effective support group in deviant attitudes and behaviors, physical illnesses, serious mental illnesses; especially during the transitional periods, the family is an important source of registration of some indicators and therefore of designing and adjusting social policies; also, a marital and family culture based on the knowledge in the field, combined with other favorable factors, can constitute substantially to the personal success in the family life.
