The literature about Stalinist deportations has a wide sense of scope and complexity, as it supposes, besides texts, an important documentary corpus.These writings are distinguished by the special quality of the authors, that of the witnesses and the prison theme universe.Published after the fall of the communist dictatorship, these writings reveal shocking revelations, unimaginable situations, atro-cious and dehumanizing images of the Stalinist prison universe. Condemning forever an oppressive system that had made hundreds of thousands of victims, the memorialist of Stalinist deportations is a kind of literature that marks the symbolism of human suffering. |
