Agriculture is one of the driving forces that shaped the image of Republic of Moldova, the nature and culture of this country over the centuries. In this specific environment, some agricultural practices, adapted to climatic, geographic and economic conditions have formed over time. In the context of Moldova’s European aspirations, the reforms in the agri-food sector of the country must comply with the European models and tendencies that will allow the sector to adjust to the requirements of the international markets, particularly in the area of food safety and security. The importance of this subject has served as an incentive for the conduction of this research.
