Rezumat | |||||
This paper aims to highlight the issue of corruption and the main generating causes in the Eastern European Union countries and Republic of Moldova for the period 2012-2017. Descriptive analyses performed on our sample confirm the causal relationship that are document in literature research. It is about the relationship between corruption on the one hand and public governance on the other hand. Thus, we find that eastern European Union countries belonging to the former Communist bloc and the Republic of Moldova as a country from the former communist bloc U.R.S.S. face the highest levels of corruption. These countries face in the same time both the lowest level of public governance efficiency. The conclusion of the article highlight some anti-corruption measures designed more pronounced to promote the increase of public confidence in the justice and administration in the Member States. |
