Rezumat

The preparation conditions, the structure, morphology, the rate of deposition and microhardness of electrochemical cobalt-molybdenum alloys from citric electrolyte that contain sodium salt of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and ironmolybdenum alloys from citric electrolyte at different ratio of iron and molybdenum salts are studied. Textured cobalt-molybdenum coatings and increase of molybdenum concentration at high current density lead to an increase of the microhardness of the coatings. High iron ions concentration inhibits the molybdenum oxides formation. The EDX analysis showed a lower oxygen content in Fe-Mo coatings obtained from solution with Fe:Mo ratio equal to 1:1 The increased Fe(II) concentration facilitated the deposition process, leading to films with greater thickness.
