Rezumat

The research was carried out at experimental field of Mustafakemalpaşa, Bursa where located at South Marmara region of Turkey during 2014 and 2015 growing seasons. Three different row spacing (25 cm, 50 cm, 75 cm) and two soybean cultivars (Nova, Umut -2002) were tested randomized complete block design. The objectives of this study were to investigate seed yield and several agronomical traits effected by row spacing . According to the results of two years, effects of the years were significant in all characters except for first pod height. There were significant differences between cultivars in terms of plant height and 1000 seed weight whereasthere was not different between the cultivars in seed yield. Row spacings were significant for plant height, the ratio of filling pot, 1000 seed weight and seed yield, the number of brances. Cultivar x row spacing interaction effects were significantfor all characters except for harvest index and the number of brances. As a result, cultivar x row spacing interaction revealed that the highest seed yield was optained from row spacing with 75 cm and in the cultivar Umut-2002.
