The intensive use of increased quantities of chemicals, both for fertilization and for crops treatment, in agriculture has led to a request for marketing of organic products from a number of increasingly high consumers. The total area of Moldovan vineyards is about 150 thousand hectares, of which about 103 000 ha are in the grape goods sector and 44 000 ha are in the farming sector. Disease prevention and control represent the most complex problem of protection in viticulture. Downy mildew, powdery mildew and gray mold of grapes are the most dangerous diseases and the most commonly found in grape vines. Currently in Moldova is recorded and produced a very small number of plant protection products that meet the standards of organic farming. The laboratory of Forecasts and Analysis Phytosanitary (Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection, ASM) developed three biorational plant protection preparations, which correspond to the organic farming standards: FUNECOL SL; RECOL SL; PELECOL EO. Funecol SL: contact fungicide, active substance is copper (7.9%), with wide spectrum of action against downy mildew in grapes, apple scab and peach leaf curl. Recol SL: contact and system fungicide on the base of extract of the Reynoutria sachalinensis (15 g / l) against powdery mildew on grapes, apple, cucumber, melon. Both products have the same preparation form - liquid, easy dissolve in water with the high adhesion and long-term maintenance on the plant surface. Pelecol EO: contact insecticide, based on the fatty acid esters with a broad spectrum of action against aphids, mites, whitefly emissions, preparation form - emulsion. Biorational products due to their composition can be used for plant protection to control different diseases and pests in the organic farming system.
