Rezumat

Develoment of new and efficient materials for nutrients removal from wastewater represent the aim of the area current research. The purpose of this study was the design and morfostructural analysis of a hybrid material based on ZnO, clinoptilolite and ferrite with application in wastewater treatment. It was investigated the preparation of the hybrid material by mechanical compression of precursors. The morphology and structural properties of the final product were determinate by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The efficiency of hybrid material to removal nutrients was evaluated on a synthetic wastewater.
