Rezumat

Polyoxometalates (including heteropolyoxometalates and isopolyoxometalates) are oligomeric aggregates of transition-metal cations (so-called polyatoms, usually the d0 species V(V), Nb(V),Ta(V), Mo(VI), and W(VI)) brid ged by oxide anions . They exhibit interesting biological effects mainly related to their antiviral and antitumor properties.  Earlier, we synthesized and structurally studied polyoxometalates: Na10[Cu3(Se2W9O33)2(H2O)3]21H2O(POM7), Na10[Cu3(Te2W9O33)2(H2O)3]19H2O(POM8) .  In this, we present the study of complexes cytotoxicity, mentioned above, by MTT and CV tests on the human Neuroblastoma cell line, SH-SY5YIn the presented work, the cytotoxicity of the complexes presented above was studied by MTT and CV tests on the human Neuroblastoma cell line SH-SY5Y. The MTT test showed that in a wide range of concentrations (0.01-100mM) for POM7, POM8, a dose-dependent cytotoxicity was observed.  The CV test graphs presented in Fig. 1. below show the changes of protein concentration as a function of the incubation time for both complexes. Notably, an increase of protein amount at certain concentrations was found on the 4th day of incubation, due to the interaction between POM and protein.
