Rezumat

The results of investigations of new varieties of lettuce var. longifolia (Roman salad, romaine) for the morphological, biological and economic-valuable features that are common in the territory of Ukraine. The scientific aspects of modeling the productivity and quality of salad products - roman are revealed. Analysis of the results of biochemical studies of lettuce lettuce romen provided an algorithm for the interrelation of qualitative characteristics in the process of crop formation. The high content of dry substances, vitamin C, sugars and carotene in the salted cabbage - romaine salads is due to the successful selection of varieties, elements of growing technology and management of the soil and climate resource.
