Some theoretical aspects are discussed in this paper, related to the contents of the mili­tary strategy. Thus, a detailed analysis is given of the existing visions and concepts, as well as the author’s proper view with regard to this subject. To obtain the desired result, the historical method was applied, including the studies of military strategies used in the wars of different historical periods; the factual material study method has also been applied, where the contents of the contemporary military strategies of various countries was analysed.
